The building feels a bit old and lacks modernization, with some amenities showing their age. The futon beds are notably hard, which can throw off a good night's sleep, especially with the noise from emergency sirens that startled me awake multiple times. The limited number of showers/toilets can lead to long waits during peak hours, which isn’t ideal for travelers on a schedule.

I truly enjoyed my stay at Fukuoka Hana Hostel. The location was wonderful, close to three subway stations and situated in the lively Kawabata Shopping Arcade. The staff were exceptionally kind and made me feel at home. The common area was peaceful, and I appreciated the ample space next to the beds for my belongings.

I stayed in the Japanese-Style Double Room with Private Bathroom for 2 nights. The room was comfy and had that old-fashioned decor vibe, which I kinda liked. The location is a win—just 3 mins from the subway and right in a shopping street. Pretty convenient! Only downside is, I found the pillows a bit too soft for my taste. But overall, not bad at all!
